What This Reference Does
Texas records do not all live with one office. The Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office maintains county-jail custody and booking material, while the Texas Department of Criminal Justice handles its own state-custody information. Clerks hold court records after a case begins. This site identifies those distinct paths, explains what each one can answer, and points to the official roster, Booking Summary, records-request contact, and court sources. It does not reproduce a roster or publish faces.
Sources and Lookup Paths
The practical starting points are organized by the kind of record sought.
- The home page explains current custody, booking reports, records requests, and correction or expunction routing.
- Wanted Fugitives identifies the Sheriff’s published wanted-list and the separate warrant-confirmation path.
- Arrest News distinguishes secondary reporting from the official booking and court record.
- City pages describe Nacogdoches, Garrison, and Cushing agency routes, while TDCJ, federal, and ICE systems cover different custody categories.
What We Cannot Provide
This is a private reference service. It is not connected to a Texas sheriff, jail, corrections department, court, or other government agency, and it cannot act for any of them.
- It cannot confirm a current custody status, release, transfer, or booking charge.
- It cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds to a person in custody.
- It cannot give legal advice or decide expunction eligibility.
- It cannot promise that an agency phone number, fee, or online interface has not changed.
Only the office that created or holds a record can confirm its current status. Booking allegations are not proof of guilt, and a court disposition may differ from a booked charge.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes operated by independent providers with their own results, data practices, and pricing. If a partner tool leads to a paid enrollment, this site may receive a referral fee that supports its operation. That relationship does not control the provider’s results, prices, or decisions.
